Growing up in the country, Charis’ passion for the beauty of nature and the outdoors began at a very young age.

Her education in Botany, Horticulture and Arboriculture , and then her graduation with Landscape Design kickstarted her professional occupation.

As her career was just starting out in the landscape design field, Charis made sure to immerse herself in the plant world by taking on jobs that helped her get to know her native plants and trees. She worked as an arborist identifying, climbing, and pruning trees. She's also spent much time digging her hands into many peoples gardens, learning about and experiencing our vast repertoire of native plant species, how they grow and thrive, and how they work together to make our landscapes beautiful.

Charis has been creating outdoor living spaces designed around each clients unique living space and lifestyle for over 20 years.
